Gayatri’s poems are infused with joie de vivre and passion for life. Her words sustain a quest for some thing new, something undiscovered, veering towards a mystical fascination of the unexplored. But the apparent search for the unknown is strangely grounded in a wistful nostalgia of homes left behind, aching journeys of partition and a haunting tryst with womanhood where melancholy is a ‘guest’ ‘destinies are blindfolded’, attraction a ‘battery’ and ruin a ‘gift’. Her use of metaphors is amazing, the canvas of her imagination utterly enchanting. Somehow, she connects the dots of the universe and leads us gently towards insights into the essential questions of existence. A book worth reading over and over again! —Vinita Agrawal

Soulful and mindful collection of thoughts and experiences put in words that evoke conscience and remind of reality.
