300.00

August 18, 2019, marked the 29th year of Parveena’s son’s enforced disappearance and, consequently, her search for him. Javed Ahmad Ahangar’s exit made Parveena move from pillar to post. Going from Cantonments to courts to jails and other places, where her son’s whereabouts were rumored, Parveena took it on herself to trace him. She devoted the prime of her age, battled all odds, adversities, and ailments to see her son home again or his traces at least. But neither of the two has happened so far. Parveena has resolved to continue her search for her son until her last breath. This book, which is a series of visits to her at home and her office in Hyderpora, catches a glimpse of Parveena’s life.
